Multiples within a range

by "Gary S. Simon" <garscosi@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 22, 2007 at 12:21 PM

A couple of days ago, my son asked whether there were ten consecutive
numbers under 1,000 which included multiples of 1 through 25, inclusive.

Within a couple of minutes, we determined that we had to check only
for 13 through 25 inclusive, and were able to generate a couple of
"close calls", but no successes.

Back home, using brute force, I was able to determine that there is
not such range, but I haven't come up with any generalized approach for
the lowest range of "x" consecutive integers (for x > 1) which include
at least one multiple of 1 through "n" inclusive.

   Any ideas?
