Re: Where do I go with this, help?

aaarrgghh , I'm still stuck

I know that 0 and 1 are roots

so if the gradient of the tangent at (1,0) is 1 then the gradient of
the tangent at (0,0) is -1

I can calculate the equations of these 2 lines:

y = -x and y = x - 1

and the intersection is (0.5 , -0.5) which is the turning point where
the gradient is 0

since 0 and 1 are the roots i can also say that x(x-1) = 0 which gives
x^2 - 2x = 0

if i differentiate x^2 - 2x i get 2x - 1 which is fine for x = 0.5 as
this gives a grdient of 0 but what have i missed out?

I know i am missing something very simple here :( :(
