Linear Algebra (?) question

by Citizen <FlammesSombres@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 13, 2008 at 05:04 PM

Hi all,

Can you please help me with this math problem?

The plane x - 3y - z = 12 is parallel to the plane x - 3y - z = 0.
One particular point on this plane is (12, 0, 0). All points all the
plane have the form (x, y, z) = (a, 0, 0,) + y(b, 1, 0) + z(c, 0, 1).

what are a, b, and c?

Thank you very much for the help.
