So one could erroneously calculate (14 cm)^3 = 2744 cm^3 or (16 cm)^3 =
4096 cm^3 and the actual size is (15 cm)^3 = 3375 cm^3.

3375 - 2744 = 631 and 4096 - 3375 = 721 so the over-measurement gives
the greatest discrepancy. 721 is what percentage of 3375?

    721 x 100/3375 = 721 x 4/135 %

As a decimal it's 21.3629 629 recurring %.

Just what was the question put to you, and what techniques have you been
taught for answering such questions?
