I took and passed the Network+ exam today with a score of 691. The only
aid
I used was the Mike Meyer's ALL IN ONE Network+ Certification Exam Guide
(3rd Edition). I bought my voucher from his site so I also got the 10
additional practice exams which I reviewed. For the most part, his book
covered the exam and the tests were quite helpful. The only supplement to
the book I used was wikipedia and the occasional Google search to get more
info on a topic. His book is pretty accurate and he's posted on his
website
most of the errata. I still found some mistakes, though.
Making flash cards of the stuff I needed to know was a great help. Using
my
home computers to test concepts was a great tool. Also, daily typing of
command line tests was real helpful to get an idea of their use.
The test is also badly written IMHO. Some of the syntax used in the
questions and answers are muddy and could have been more clearly worded.
Just the same, I passed so what the heck.
Also, daily typing of command line tests was real helpful to get an idea
of
their use.
I'm not familiar with any of TestOuts' Products but I did take a gander at
their website. It seems like a lot of money especially if you are already
in a classroom situation. I'd exhaust my local library and used book
store
first to find out if I really needed something that expensive.
Good luck to you.
