I spent some time while I was at Umass, Amherst searching for the tunnels.
I even received some tips here in this newsgroup when I asked. A friend
anf I luckily stumbled upon what we firmly believe was an entrance. We
were not equipped properly for the descent, and the timing was wrong (if
you ask me), so we did not partake. Looking back, I wish we had... you
only live once.
I may have some information kicking around that I gained from posting in
this group so many years ago. If I find it, I'll post it upon request.
