Who needs books any way....

by Ramon Hernandez <hernadez@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 20, 2004 at 12:28 AM

It's been awhile since I was last in a public library. I was very impressed

with the modernization of library today. Computers were every where. But
book selections were limited. Staff seemed to work hard but I am sure the
pay wasn't too good.

But then again who needs books any way.

What we need are weapons. Lots of it. We should spend the entire tax
dollars on military so that we may go around and kick ass countries we
don't like or countries with lots of oil or other resources we want.

Let's take away any public fund on recreation such as national parks and
buy more tanks and jets and other toys and services from our great friends

like Lockheed and Halliburton.

Let's scrap all social programs. Let the seniors die early by denying them

all prescription drugs. Let's let the kids be stupid. Let's make education

a lowest priority so that we could corner these kids into the military
when
they grow up - if they ever will.

Why not make this country a powerful country so that our corporations can
benefit from slavery around the world through great ideas such as 'global
economy'.

I am a strong supporter of G. W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Any further
question
or comment please direct to either one of my friends George or Dick.
