For the last decade I have experienced good things about the fine arts
department in schools. I am an instrumentalist and can say music
should stay. A lot of schools seem to want to get rid of the fine arts
because not everyone likes to sup****t it. Some schools even say that
playing music, or singing is just a hobby. I want to tell them that,
that isn't all that it does. It is a proven fact that music accesses a
****tion of the brain that nothing else does. Kids are reading better,
staying focused in school, their accidemics are improving, and they
are habing fun. Who ever want to get rid of the program needs to try
to understand that getting rid of it will only cause kids to get lower
grades. People need to try to understand and put it in a different
view than money. If people were so needing of money than cut down on
s****ts player's money and put it towards edevation. Education should
be number one, because without it where would society learn what they
do. Sup****t the fine arts department and people shoukd see how much of
a difference it makes.
