Hey, for my paper about subcultures in the U.S. i have chosen
Fraternitites and Sororities. If you could spare a few minutes of your
time to answer these questions, I would really appreciate it. Thanks
1. What is the name of your fraternity? The objective (if any)?
2. Do you remember how you felt during the ru****ng period? If so,
please give a very brief recount of your thoughts during time.
3. What was it like to pledge for your fraternity?
4. How accurately do you believe College movies like Old School and
Animal House depict fraternity life? What do these genre of films tend
to overlook (community service done by fraternities, etc..)? What, if
anything, do they tend to exaggerate?
5. Would you agree with the statement that Fraternities bring people
with the same beliefs together?
5. What is your favorite part of being a member of your particular
fraternity?
6. Finally, and most im****tantly-- A Subculture, as defined for us in
this paper is a "social group within a national culture that has
distinctive patterns of behavior, beliefs, language, dress, ritual,
etc.". If you could, briefly, describe a couple of distinct elements
that makes fraternities fall under this category.
