If they weren't wi****ng to do the proxy baptisms, they'd 
have no _reason_ to want to "waste" their tithes on scanning 
old do***ents, building the indexes and search engines and 
sup****ting the server farms.  I mean, the other 
denominations all had their chance to pick up the historical 
slack there, and passed?  (g)

Those who serve as the proxies are generally family members 
doing their religious duty.  The proxies who aren't family 
members are devout volunteers assigned to the task.

Those who have a personal knowledge of Temple-work may 
correct that to their satisfaction.  Not being Mormon, all I 
know is what I'm told.
