based on the family history it is highly unlikely they left the area.
since I posted the original message I have found the missing William
and Sarah Flood at Madonna Cemetary in Bergen County.  He died 1912,
she 1919.  They are buried along side James and Margaret who didn't
die until 1955 &1964.  but I have also searched all of New Jersey and
the NYC area which if they did leave would be the most likely
locations still no show.  None of them show up in the right
combination.  I think at this point I need to look at the microfilm
copies...
