Not really. I'm all for preserving what do***entation exists on
*any* language, but it really doesn't matter to me if any of
them lives or dies whether they be natural or constructed. I do
have my personal favorites that I like to spend time studying
for my own amusement, and often use what I find in my own
conlang creations, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over any
of them slipping into history. What's im****tant is that I am
able to communicate with the people I need to communicate with.
English has done a good job of that for over 40 years now, and
I'm working on Spanish because there may just be a need for it
in my near future. As interesting as it may be to learn Lakota
or some other less-than-popular language, I have many demands on
my time, and even for amusement couldn't spend the time needed
to learn any of them to fluency.
