I don't know what their particular reasons are. If this is really a
group for discussing a particular auxlang, I can certainly see the
point. There are similar groups to be found among conlangers as well
-- small, special interest groups that afford a quiet corner for
conlangers of similar interests to talk shop.

start a thread of my very own, I will. If you don't like it when
people take interest in what you have to say, perhaps you shouldn't
