This is true. However, even if a PDF is to be distributed
electronically, there is the problem that some of us have only slow
connections to the internet, so if the PDF is very big (and for me that
means anything much over a MB in size), it becomes impractical to
download it in the first place. Also, if by chance an issue should
have any color in it, some of us have only black and white printers.
