But possessives are usualy there to indicate a state of
belonging.   An article indicates a specific thing as
understood.  


FWIW: Sasxsek has no possessive pronouns anyway.  It's handled
with a preposition just like nouns.

	kanin iu mo
	dog of I  = my dog

	kanin iu fo
	dog of you = your dog

	kanin iu no
	dog of nobobdy/nothing = nobody's dog  (the dog has no
owner)

	kanin iu uo
	dog of somebody/something = somebody's dog (the dog
belongs to somebody, but nobody specific)

	ui kanin
	some dog (no dog in particular, different from "kanin iu
uo"
)
