I presume WAL = World Auxiliary Language?

In what way does it differ from IAL? As a concept, I understand it to
be worldwide, i.e., "international" in scope; as opposed to a regional
auxlang like Interlingua, which is very nice as a pan-Western Romance
auxlang, but not so good elsehwere.
