I'd like to see a newsgroup called, say, alt.usage.language where people
could provide help in one language and get help in another. Some of that
happens in alt.usage.english and other groups but there doesn't seem to
be any place dedicated to this sort of thing. At least that is getting
used much.

We could eventually add explicit groups which would expand the hierarchy
from the a.u.spanish, a.u.german, a.u.icelandic to whatever groups would
get traffic. Since there are groups hidden in non-English hierarchies
where people are trying to learn better English and might be willing to
help with others seeking to learn their languages, some sort of
autoforwarding scheme might be helpful.
