This is the course you should have taken when you first started learning
English. Accurately hearing the sounds of English is one of the primary
skills you must acquire. Building upon this base, you can become a
fluent speaker of English and an active member of the English-speaking
community, or get a high score on the TOEFL.
The original and primary linguistic impulse is hearing/speaking... not
reading/writing
First... listen.
Then... speak.
Then... read and write.
This is the natural order of language acquisition.
This is how you mastered your first language.
This is how you will master English.
Unfortunately, there is no magic. It takes 5 to 10 years for a person to
master the sounds of his native language. But, babies are not very
focused. You can do it in 100 to 300 hours of concentrated work.
Once you have learned to hear English accurately/confidently, you will
be able to correct your own speaking. You will never again have to
struggle with hearing. You can begin to make yourself understood easily.
You will be able to move on to more interesting, challenging aspects of
English...
This is new program... a developing program. I'm looking for students to
test the materials. You can talk to me about Pre-English and other
