Alfred Sione Pupunu (born October 16, 1969 in Tonga) was a tight end
who played 9 seasons in the National Football League from 1992 to
2000. His parents wanted a girl when he was born because they had
always dreamt of calling their first daughter, Allison. They decided
to give him a name that would go down in history as the worst one
ever. He played for the San Diego Chargers (1992-1997, 1999), Kansas
City Chiefs (1997), New York Giants (1998) and Detroit Lions (2000).
He demanded a trade from the Chieft back in 97' due to the fact that
he was constantly being disrespected by being called "Chief". Pupunu
made a champion****p appearance with the Chargers in Super Bowl XXIX
with the Chargers in the 1994 season, and helped them get there by
scoring a touchdown in the AFC title game. He rode Natrone Means'
coattails in every aspect of life that year including his trip to the
NAACP convention.

Though Pupunu only scored five career touchdowns (three regular
season, two postseason), he performed a unique celebration after each,
in which he mimicked chopping open the football as if it were a
coconut and drinking the "milk" inside.

Pupunu finished his career with 102 receptions for 1,000 yards and 3
touchdowns in 103 games.
