Absolutely, the two are related. But that's not what he said. He said that
Farsi is derived from Sanskrit, and that conveys the ideals of Hindu
nationalism along with ethnocentricity and a false sense of superiority.

No, Urdu was the language that was spoken in India as a result of various
languages coming together. True, that Sanskrit plays a big influence on
Urdu, but Hindi was a made up language by the Hindu nationalists.
Essentially, Hindi is Urdu with Arabic and Farsi words replaced with
Sanskrit words.So as you can see technically Hindi is derived from Urdu.
