The Indo-European word was *kweklo-s, so carxa is probably the result
of a metathesis. When that metathesis happened in the history of Farsi
I can't say from the evidence, but there's no reason to think that at
the time of Avestan the direct ancestor of Farsi didn't have caxra as
well (ie, unless we have it in the Bisitun inscription - do we? - I
don't think we can decided which branch was closer to Indic with this
word).
