Sure. Hindi didn't borrow directly from Old Persian or Arabic; it got
words
from both via late Persian. According to the dictionary I quoted,
something
like Hindi carkhA was in Persian as early as 2 1/2 millenia back and if it
has passed into Hindi relatively unchanged, it must have remained
relatively unchanged in West Persian for 2 millenia.
