Care to explain? I didn't get it at all, I guess partly because I'm
utterly unfamiliar with this Stephen Colbert, partly because I had
troubles hearing what he said. I heard something like this:
"Volo dicere, priusquam incipio, anormi[?] esse, ut Stephen Colbert me
in suo oratione animadverterit, sed, heu, verbum enis[?] abest ab his
observationibus."
After having listened through it about ten times, I wonder if "enis"
may be the English word "anus"? It's not very clear though, because
the word is pronounced peculiarly rapidly and unstressed in a way I
wouldn't expect if it is in apposition to "verbum".
