Hi, I'm the reader in that video. Thanks for the critique; it's always
refre****ng to get input, even if it's not always positive. ;-) Let me
only clarify, though, that the purpose of the video that Johannes
Patruus linked to is only to demonstrate the rhythm, and that in a
rather mechanical way. Thus, I agree that it's exerted, etc., and
generally unsatisfactory in terms of artistic performance.

I'd be more interested in getting input on the follow up:

This is closer to my vision of how to recite the hexameter as poetry,
so to speak. What do you think? Better? Same shortcomings as the
first? Anything in particular you want to change?

There's also a video response to that one, with another reader
reciting the same poem, which could be interesting to listen to.
