Breaking Fixations: 1

by "Lion Stakeover" <nobody@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 12, 2004 at 10:48 AM

Breaking the pattern of written slogans and cliches
(which become 'spoken' in internal dialogue when read)
by modification of the symbols and/or arrangements
of that make up the words - and ultimately blurring
the message into ambiguity and incomprehensiblity.

Further, one can then 'reincarnate' the slogan, by
resonant or symbolic substitution, into a morphed
alternative.

Example 1:
Eat at Harry's Cafe
Heat at harrys cafe
he tat hair wrist kathy
He tapped her wrist, Kathy

Example 2:
Drink Bluto Scruto Beer
D4ink 7luto Scruto 7eer
D4ink 7l3to Scr3to 7eer
D4ink 7l3to Scr3to 7224
D4ink 7l39 Scr39 7224
Doink Bla Scra Biio

This can be extended beyond linguistic/word form breakup.
