po-em ... a new in print zine will replace 3 cup morning in 2006. This is
a digest-sized
zine, centre stapled with card/paper cover. It will be published twice a
year by oneil press and distributed to a dozen or so zine distros in North
America. In the true design of the historical 'zine", po-em will be all
print, all poetry with a heavy paper cover. A variety of fonts will be
used to inhance the reading pleasure of the audience.
po-em will NOT be available for viewing on any website. It is strictly a
print magazine.
If you are interested in submitting to po-em, please sent no more than 5
poems in the BODY of an email. MAXIMUM length is 30 lines including the
title and any spacing. Longer poems will not be read. Haiku is welcome.
Graphic violence and/or *** is not accepted. Any other genre in any style
is welcomed.

1 (ONE) free copy of the zine. If you would like more, please send email
and let me know how many copies you would like and I will invoice you
through PayPal or, if you don't have PayPal, I will accept money orders.
I hope to hear from some of you soon. We would like to take the first
issue to press by May 1st, 2006 for distribution June 1st 2006. The
second
issue will then go to press on November 1st 2006 for distribution December
1st 2006.
If you are interested in zines, oneil press has a variety of new zines
coming out this year and s few of them will be accepting very short
poetry,
black and white illustrations, reviews and commentary.
