Hello all,
Weekend Poetry With A Kick!
Nights will be divided into 2 parts:
1) Each poet will post one poem. People can comment on it for a few
minutes.
Then we will go to the next poet, and so on. When all the poets are done
posting in turn, everybody will have 10 minutes to cast a vote to select
the
best poem of the night. It is forbidden to vote for your own poem. I will
have a list of poets and poems and I will make sure I know who posted
what.

2) We will then improvise poetry. The winner of the first round gets to
choose the theme and rules for this exercise.
I will send you a message the day before the show. Please, kindly reply to
tell me if you will be able to attend by hitting me up at
"soulpoetrysite".
Do not hesitate to invite friends and fellow poets, but let me know
beforehand. If you haven't replied by the time the show starts, you can
still come but you cannot post in the first round. Yet, you can vote for
the
best poem and participate in the second round.
If you arrive late for the show (which should happen because it is the
weekend ;-)) and we have started posting, you can cast a vote but your
vote
will only count in case we get a tie.
It is absolutely necessary that respect be paid to poets and members in
the
room. If you fall off, just let me know through PM and I will re-invite
you.
If a poet is posting, you will have to wait until that person is done.
NB: The winning poem of the first round and the improvised poems of the
second round will be posted in the three Weekend With A Kick Poetry groups
