Si quieres referirte a "la zona amazónica del Perú", pues sería correcto
si suprimieras el acento, o usaras la frase entre comillas.
Maybe your teacher didn't like the accent, but "amazónica" y "peruana"
are both adjectives. She could be saying, "the Amazon what?" And why
is it feminine? In that case, it might be better if you specified
"zona". ¿Vale? I'll check in an hour after I do my French homework.
