slang greeting

by "Robert Bencomo" <rbencomo@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 19, 2008 at 02:32 AM

Hello! I currently live in southern Arizona very close to the
Mexican border, so my question is reference a possible
Mexican slang greeting.

Anyways, I very often hear people greet each other in
Spanish with a phrase that sounds like "Que ojole?"
or "Que jole?" or "Que ole?" or something like that.

It's obvious to me that this phrase means "What's up?"
or "What's going on?", but I have no idea how to
spell it. What are they saying to each other?? And how
is it spelled???

Thanks!
