A question about the Spanish subjuntivo

by "Poul E. Jørgensen" <33@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 11, 2008 at 06:09 PM

Let us look at two sentences:
With the subjuntivo: Me sorprende que tú seas uno de ellos
With the indicativo: es claro que tú eres uno de ellos

Normally the explanation is that the subjuntivo is caused by "me
sorprende".
So far, so good.

But what happens if we start the sentences with "que"? Is it possible to
say:
Que tú seas uno de ellos me sorprende
Que tú eres uno de ellos es claro
