I would say that imposing your ideology of bottom versus top posting on
others is an example of "bad" manners.  It could be just ignorance of the
customs of others, but many people will interpret that as bad manners.

"Manners" is nothing but conformity.  In a situation where people exist
who
adhere to multiple standards, "manners" is tolerance of diversity.  The
lack
thereof is therefore "bad" manners.

Pacos remarks about "monolinguals" do get tiresome.
