| In addition to what I said I would like to point out that sometimes
sentences with ka:na can be ambigiuos without the grammatical ending:
1. (Nominative after ka:na) ka:na malik-un... There was a king ....
(Sotrytelling or re****ting)
2. (Accusative after ka:na) ka:na malik-an He was a king.
