Can someone take a look at this?

by Jawade <Henk_Jawade@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 6, 2008 at 11:00 PM

I have here a part of a manual for my bootmanager, I translated it by mij
self, but I think its no correct English. Is here someone who can make it
good English. Thanks in advance.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Install Againg starting HWBOOT of HWBOOT32, installs HWBOOT. the last
one
via a choice-window. If you have only one Windows
installation,
but 2 or more primaire partitions, you can with HWBOOT jump
to
the 2th, evt. 3th or 4th partition, and now it will hanging.
Of
corse, there is no system there. Now you need the
floppy-version,
because HWBOOT have to removed. This is because The Windows
installation overwrites the MBR (Thank you, Bill :-))
Remove HWBOOT trough starting with the floppy, and then
starting
HWBOOT. The active partition is still the second (or 3 or 4)
so you can install Windows there. After installing your
second
Windows, you have to installing HWBOOT again, and now you
have
your multi-boot. Just one thing: The other partition(s) with
XP
need to have the boot-files NTDETECT.COM, ntldr, boot.ini in
the
             root.

Parameters HWBOOT has several parameters, like 'hide' and 'rest'. 'hide'
hides all the primairy partitions, and 'rest' make them
visible.
They are meant for Windows 95/98/ME for making more primairy
             partitions with FDISK.

HWBOOT hide hide all the primairy partitions (1e drive)
HWBOOT rest Make then visible again and make the first
active.

Those commands do not installing or remove something. Of
corse
it's a good idea to work with a startup -floppy with HWBOOT.

For the more recent Windows-versions are there the
parameters
1, 2, 3 and 4 with evt. z or v behind it. This is if you want
installing with a pre-choice. if you installs with

               hwboot32 1z

the PC will starting up (without interruption) in the first
partition, with the other systempartition(s) visible ('z' is
from the Dutch word for visible, 'zichtbaar' and 'v' is from
the Dutch word for hidden, 'verborgen'). Of corse if another
choice were made during the boot, it overrules the
pre-choice.
If you start HWBOOT32 without parameters, it comes up with
the
choice-Window, were you can choose all the possibillities. If
there are f.e. 2 primairy partitions, it has no effect if you
choose the 3th or 4th choice, then it installs without
pre-choice.

hwboot(32) 1z Start up with the 1th partition, others
visible.
hwboot(32) 1v Start up with the 1th partition, others
hidden.
hwboot(32) 2z Start up with the 2th partition, others
visible.
hwboot(32) 2v Start up with the 2th partition, others
hidden.
hwboot(32) 3z Start up with the 3th partition, others
visible.
hwboot(32) 3v Start up with the 3th partition, others
hidden.
hwboot(32) 4z Start up with the 4th partition, others
visible.
hwboot(32) 4v Start up with the 4th partition, others
hidden.

If you installs without parameters or the 1st choice from the
choice-
window, the PC boots up in the same settins as the previous
start.
