I'm out of my depth, but If my dictionary is anything to go by, there
is no equivalent. It has:-
stalk (vt)
a)
game, prey; traquer
victim; suivre partout
suspect; filer
b)
to stalk the streets/town etc (fear, disease, death) :régner dans les
rues/la ville etc
...so it looks like 'suivre partout' is the closest, and affirmed by
this example for 'stalker' (no single noun is offered)
she complained of being followed by a stalker: elle s'est plainte
d'un désaxé qui la suit partout.
