i am not sure to fully get the point, but you can say "depuis quelques 
années dans cette entreprise, je gagne beaucoup d'argent"(like the french

president (>.<)   )

it's a process,it's about earning money and it's not punctual
but it's late here ,i am tired, and maybe am i totally out of the topic...
