Learning the Irish Language

by "Tom O'Dwyer" <todwyer@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 27, 2003 at 03:42 PM

I am very much interested in learning the Irish language. Although I am
almost certain that the language likely varied geographically within
Ireland, I am interested in the current Gaeilge pronunciation and grammar.

I found www.erinsweb.com and this is very interesting so far (just
starting
into it). I also bought some tapes (so I can hear the pronunciation as I
read the word, but this is difficult for me since the auditory skips
around
compared to the written text).

Any guidance would be appreciated.
