Thanks Liam. I've learned basic skills in a number of different
languages (Korean, Japanese, several romance languages, Arab
languages) but have NEVER encountered anything as 'foreign' as Irish -
the odd way of saying things ('there is knowledge at me') to the odd
noun behaviour you explained a couple of days ago (pinta, finta,
binta)...throw in the wildly different dialectic differences, I'm
ready to go crazy (ar buile, is this right?)
of the 'whats yer name', I've seen it as frequently both ways.
Here's todays big question: how do I get Windows to allow me to type
the fada characters (did I say this right?) ? Some magic keystroke? I
could not figure it out.
Thanks !
