There are several rivers called Blackwater in Ireland. However the most
famous is probably the "Munster Blackwater", which rises on the border
of Cork an d Kerry and flows into teh sea at Youghal. The Irish name for
this river is "An Abhainn Mhór" (literally "the big river") and it's
pronounced roughly "on owi~n wore", where "ow" is pronounced as in
"how" and "~n" is pronounced like the "ny" in the word "canyon".
