We had some Very Sad news here in Connecticut over the weekend. I guess
we all knew it was coming but now we know when. My good friend John
Jeski and Jeff of WRYM 840 AM and WRTC FM have announced the end of
their Polka radio shows! John has been having some serious health
problems for some time now and has left Jeff and Peter to do the shows.
Over the weekend announcements were made on both stations telling us the
end is here. Saturday July 28th will end the show at WRTC FM and Sunday
July 29 is the end of the line at The Polish National Home on WRYM 840
AM for both John and Jeff. This will end over 27 years of Polka music on
these two stations by John and Jeff. Im not sure just how I will spend
my Saturday and Sunday now that these shows are gone as I tuned in each
week to hear Polka Music and news of events in the area. I guess all
good things must come to an end but I thought in my mind that these
Polka Radio Shows would Live On Forever! I will try to write more in
future columns as I receiver more news on this im****tant matter! Please
keep John and Jeff in your Thoughts and Prayers! On this Very Sad note I
