Sunday is just NOT the same anymore
because there is NO Broadcast from The Polish National Home in Hartford!
My Grandparents, my Mother and Father, and I listened to that Broadcast
from the day I was born! We had it on our radio every Sunday! Now things
are just not the same! From the day Bob Steele did the FIRST Broadcast
over 50,000 Watt WTIC AM 1080 Radio in 1934 til the day John Jeski
signed off the air for the very Last Time in 2007 is about 73 years of
LIVE Radio Broadcasts from the PNH in Hartford! May God Bless The Jeski
Family In A Very Special Way And May John Jeski Always Rest In Peace,
AMEN! From, Tom Coss of Meriden, Connecticut

 Hartford music community
is really going to miss John. John taught my girls to play the piano
years ago. They liked him alot and they still quote his words of musical
wisdom.

Our prayers are with you. John was an inspiration to all who loved polka
music...our house has an empty sound on Saturdays and Sundays since John
signed off the air. Our hearts are filled with fond memories of John at
the Bristol Polish Club when George was Dance Director and more recently
when John played Baldwin Park and invited George up to sing....it was a
great honor to call John a friend, and his friend****p was sincere.

SimmonsEmail Address: Mr. Jeski played the accordian and sang at my
parents 50th wedding anniversary two years ago. He was wonderful, and
really made the event festive. My parents are both Polish (from New
Britain), and I knew they would enjoy the polkas. Sadly, my Mom passed
on last year, and my Dad's funeral is tomorrow. Anyway, I just wanted
Mr. Jeski's family to know that he brought many people joy and I have
fond memories of that party, and how happy both of my parents were. I am
very sorry for your loss. GOD BLESS THE JESKI FAMILY, And May John
Always Rest In Peace, AMEN! From, Tom Coss of Meriden, Connecticut 06450
