We have some news from two of our Polish Churches in New Britain, CT.
and in Middletown, CT. As of Sept. 1, Father Peter Sobiecki of Sacred
Heart Church, Broad St. in New Britain, will be added to the list of
retired priests in the Archdiocese of Hartford. Father Peter will still
be doing weekend Masses and confessions at the church. Father Andrzej
Pogorzelski from the Diocese of Lomza, Poland will be assigned to Sacred
Heart by Archbishop Mansell to serve the church for one year. In the
Diocese of Norwich we also say Good Bye to Father Tadeusz Zadorozny Of
St. Mary of Czestochowa Church on Main St. in Middletown, CT. Father
Ted, as he is called by his many friends, will be transferred to the
Cathedral in Norwich. Father Marek Masnicki will remain at the
Middletown church as Pastor. For Mass times and further information

St. Mary of Czestochowa in Middletown at 860-347-2365. We wish Fathers
Sobiecki, Pogorzelski, Zadorozny, and Masnicki Sto Lat and Gods
