I had a Great time on Sunday, 11/25/07 at the Polish National Home in
Hartford, Connecticut with my Good FRIEND John from WWUH 91.3 FM Radio!
John and I used to do a show called "The Polka Night Show" which was on
at 3 AM and then moved to 12 Mid-night. The Polish Cultural Club of
Greater Hartford proudly sponsored their 27th annual Szopka Festival at
the home. Szopka making is a Polish Folk Art originating in Cracow,
Poland. Szopka are ornate castle like Christmas mangers made by
children. After checking out the festival we enjoyed a delicious PNH
meal of golabki and enjoyed the radio broadcast live from the home over
WRYM 840 AM Radio. A good time was had by all. The PNH is located at 60
Charter Oak Ave. in Hartford. You can call them at 860-247-1784 to see
what specials are on the menu. Stop by some Sunday for a drink and a
meal and enjoy the live radio broadcast from 1 to 3 PM. Dziekuje Bardzo
i Bog Zaplac! ~Tom Coss~ http://www.tomcoss.net
