There are some slight differences between Brazilian and normal ****tuguese.
Such as Hello is 'Oi' in Brazil and 'Ola' in ****tugal. One slipup is
'rapriga' is the normal word for girl in ****tugal but it means prostitute
in Brazil. That got me into trouble one day.
But appart from some structure and a few words they are not very
different, its quite easy to be understand one from the other,
You didn't say where abouts in the world you are, but if you need a
private tutor or someone native speaker to talk to check out
www.grinds-ireland.com for Ireland and
wwww.grinds.biz/gb/ for England, Scotland or Wales.
Best of Luck with it.
