 I believe it is the same as "sfogo" in Italian or "desahogo" in
Spanish. I am not aware of an specific English translation , but the
idea conveyed by "desabafar" is roughly to express your feelings in a
candid and open way (like, perhaps, "to spew" in American teenage
slang).
