I'm learning ****tuguese and I am confused by the last line of Mas Que
Nada:
Voc=EA n=E3o vai querer, que eu chegue no final.
I read this to say "You're not going to like that I arrived at the
end."
Why doesn't it say "cheguei" instead of "chegue?"
I do not know of a conjugation of chegar that is spelled: "chegue."
Is this a typo in the lyrics, or is there a form of the verb I'm not
aware of?
