-- An exact 1-D integration challenge - 55 - Proud Earthling, go and

by Vladimir Bondarenko <vb@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 6, 2008 at 06:26 PM

Hello dear computer algebra Warrior the Earthling,

Phobos and Deimos! Run for your lives! ...such screams of
terror would produce easily a person less heroic than me.

Not me, though. As always, I am in line of duty, full of
courage and self-possession. But this does not change the
dangerous fact that those sinistrous (striped!) computers
ARE coming! And what if they would want to grasp all the
powers?!

Be a hero, too (like me)! Get out of hibernation, protect
our old good carbon-based life!

Get prepared for the Final Battle!

Consider, today, not a single witless chip can crack this.
Ha-ha-ha, these days, Mathematica/Maple/Derive/MuPAD/AXIOM
return this unevaluated..... (But we the humans should not
repose on our laurels! Train hard, fight easy!)

Is there a Dauntless Integrator the Warrior who can come
up with a set of a CAS commands to get the exact value of

   int(ln(z)*(exp(-z^2)-exp(-z))^2/z, z=0..infinity);

                        ?
Cheers,
