Who else reading these newsgroups feels it is appropiate to send
Mathematica specific bugs to a Maple specific newsgroup? Are there *any*
users who read comp.soft-sys.math.maple but not sci.math.symbolic and
feel they want to know about Mathematica bugs? If so, let use know. If
there are very few of you, perhaps Vladimir would stop posting there.
As a user of OpenOffice, I really don't care about bugs in Word or Excel.
As a user of Solaris, I really don't care about bugs in the linux
kernel. If I was interested in Linux specific bugs, I would subscribe to
a Linux newsgroup.
As a user of the ipfilter firewall, I don't care about bugs in ipchains
(another similar firewall).
As an owner of a Voltzwagen Passat car, I really dont care about faults
in Jaguars, Rolls Royces or BMW's.
Clearly a more appropiate forum for Mathematica bugs would be
comp.soft-sys.math.mathematica, but that is moderated and I very much
doubt the moderator would permit such bug re****ts from Vladimir. I find
the moderation on that newsgroup to be a pain, but it does have the
benefit of restricting Vladimir's endless childish posts. All this crap
about proud earthlings training hard, carbon-based minds and numerous
repeats about what Brad Cooper thinks of bugs is just an annoyance.
Any chance of you Vladimir not being quite so vocal and restricting the
bug re****ts to the essential information to relavant newsgroups?
