G'day Dan,
I'm not sure if Mensantor is tugging our collective legs, or what,
I have an inherent distrust of exceptionally bright people.

If you Google, there is a simple Java app, that describes
the abacus and alows one to practice.
With addition one works left to right, and reads the answer left to right,

I'll regurgitate the scanned image and have another bo-peep
at Mensantors reply.
