Not sure

by Michael D'Urso <comic_guy10096@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 14, 2008 at 12:07 PM

well i'm a 16 year old kid still in high school and i think i found a new
formula but my teachers think its irrelavant but i think otherwise. Its
how to find the # of edges but euler has a type of formula

Eb = # of edges on a base
Ef = # of edges on a face
E = # of edges
F= # of faces

this formula works only for prisms and pyramids

Eb(Ef-1)=E

This one works for the dodecahedron and octahedron

Eb(Ef-1)+(2Eb)=E

For laughs works on the icosahedron

F+10=E

I need an opinion to know if its relevant
Plus i also need to know how to prove this and i'm clueless about proofs
My teachers said i needed to ask on how to write a proof to someone on a
near collage level
