Re: Solving Linear systems over finite rings

by Brian Tyler <brian.tyler@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 7, 2008 at 01:10 PM

[a_1 ...
   ...
     b_3]

Denotes a 3x2 matrix of elements of the finite ring Z/m_i (depending on
the row)

[x_1]
 ...
[x_3]

Denotes a vector of indeterminates (in Z). Bad notation, and doesn't
really make any sense does it?

Anyway cheers, you have definitely put me on the right track. Not sure
why I didn't think of Euclid's algorithm, it's so simple really.

Thanks again,
Brian.
